This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of arranging commercial mortgage financing, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the brokerage services we provide.

Information we collect

We collect only the information we need in order to respond to you and to arrange financing. That falls into two categories.

• Information you give us directly. When you complete the contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or email or call us, we receive your name, email address, telephone number and whatever you choose to tell us about your project.
• Information collected in the course of a mandate. Where you engage us to arrange financing, we collect the commercial and financial information required to underwrite and place the loan, such as property details, financial statements, rent rolls, budgets and corporate records.
• Basic technical information. Our hosting and analytics record standard request data such as pages visited and approximate region, which we use to understand how the site is used.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and to provide brokerage and advisory services.
• To present a financing request to prospective lenders and capital sources on your behalf.
• To send market updates and insights where you have asked to receive them.
• To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations as a licensed mortgage brokerage.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. In the course of a mandate we share the information necessary to place a loan with prospective lenders, and with professional advisors such as lawyers, appraisers and quantity surveyors engaged on the transaction. We also use service providers for website hosting, email and file storage, who process information only on our instructions.

We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a regulator, or by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and for the period our regulatory obligations require records to be retained. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive material through the contact form.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies and equivalent storage needed for the site to function and for basic, aggregated usage measurement. It does not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

Your rights
